Jay Carr is President and CEO of C3 Publishing and oversees operations of Birmingham Fun and Family Magazine. Newly relaunched as Birmingham Fun and Family Magazine, our publication is the leading family resource guide in the metro Birmingham area through its large distribution of print magazines and active social media programs.
Mr. Carr, a Business Management graduate of Samford University, has twelve years experience managing large events whether through youth camps or family expos. This gathered experience has enabled Mr. Carr to offer his clients, approximately 100 small business owners per month, a wealth of opportunities to increase their first impression impact and, thereby, achieve success within their markets. He lives in Shelby County with his wife and four children.
Christine Carr is a mother of four children, two boys and two girls, with ages ranging from 4 to 11. She works outside the home part-time as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and loves to counsel parents and patients on healthy living. Often curious and passionate about living life to its fullest, Christine has backpacked Europe, earned her pilot’s license, joined Mensa, and briefly worked as an actress, dancer and choreographer. Currently, Christine loves to creatively embrace the potential in her to raise them into thoughtful, responsible, and loving adults. She and her husband, Jay, have been married for 15 years. They attend Westwood Baptist Church, where Christine is involved with mentoring high school girls and organizing local charity projects.
Kimberly Waldrop is a mommy to three children, two girls and one boy, ranging in age from 5 years to 6 months. Kimberly holds a bachelors degree in communications and a masters degree in early childhood/elementary education. She enjoys teaching aerobics, reading and writing, and children’s clothes! As a wife to a high school football coach, she also enjoys talking about and watching football. Kimberly keeps up with all the fun events in our area as well as ticket sales, consignment sales, and family “things to do”. She and her husband, Wade, have been married for nine years and they are members of Liberty Baptist Church in Chelsea, where Kimberly is involved in the preschool department and women’s ministry.
