For those of us with little ones to feed, it can be a challenge to eat out. What does everyone like to eat? What restaurants are kid-friendly? And how do we get out of our rut of going to the same 3-4 places?

This spurred a desire to bring local kid-friendly restaurants together with local families. On August 17, 2019, the first-ever Fam Jam Food Fest will be held at Jefferson State Community College’s Shelby-Hoover Campus on Valleydale Road near Spain Park High School. Local restaurants will be on hand with samples of food from their kids’ menus, and other activities will be available for the family to enjoy.

Join us from 11am-3pm that day, and help us celebrate Birmingham’s only kid-friendly tasting event! Entry is $20 for a family of up to five people, and additional guests are $5 each. Tickets will go on sale in May.
