Fall weather is here to stay. Leaves are changing and it’s time to break out the sweaters and have some fun with the family. From pumpkin patches to fall festivals we’ve got you covered with everything going on this weekend.
At the Old Baker Farm this weekend they are having Western Cowboy Day on both the 10th and the llth. On the 10th it will be from 9 am until dark and on the 11th it will be from 1 pm until dark. There will be shootouts, western music, hay wagon rides, and of course a pumpkin patch. Kids are advised to come in their western clothes! It costs 10 dollars per person and is free for kids under 2.
You can also go to the Faye Whitmore Farms for pumpkin patches and trail rides. Or go to the 4D Family Farm for pumpkin patches and corn maizes plus much more. There is also the Great Pumpkin Patch for more pumpkin patch fun.
If you aren’t feeling pumpkin patches this weekend, or after you get your fair share of them check out the Southern Women’s Show. This is happening at the BJCC. It will be full of different events from makeup to fashion to celebrity guests this event has everything mothers will love.
The libraries are also having tons of events this weekend! You could also solve mysteries and cook with scooby at Scooby’s Kids Kitchen at the Hoover Public Library. You can go to Father Goose on the Loose at Homewood Public Library. Or, you could read Star Wars at Star Wars Reads Day also at Homewood Public Library.
